Next Level Fall Protection 30′ Doberman Class B Self-Retracting Lifeline (SRL) With Swivel Steel Snap Hook- Part Number NLSRDB30C. The Doberman 30 ft. SRL meets the OSHA requirement of a Maximum Arrest Distance of 42 inches (3.5 ft.) or less. It is constructed of a galvanized steel cable in an extremely durable glass filled nylon housing with swivel top and bottom connections. The Doberman SRL also provides the safety of a reserve line which is an ANSI requirement for an SRD with internal brakes (no shock pack). The reserve line provides the extra cable length that is only deployed during a fall so that the brakes can properly engage even if the SRL is fully extended or close to being fully extended. Without this required safety feature, the brakes would not engage under these conditions to protect the user, the SRL, and the anchorage from being exposed to higher forces. The Doberman Series of SRL’s meet the most current standards from OSHA & ANSI. The Doberman 30 ft. retractable has successfully passed ANSI Z-359.14 testing in a third party ISO-17025 test lab. This means that a separate highly respected organization, in addition to our company, has stated in writing that this SRL has passed the required qualification testing.
